My partner Juan and I decided that for our Table of Contents or TOC pages (2), we wanted there to be an advertisement and/or objects that are discussed in our magazine displayed on the left side of the left page, and the right side of the right page of our two page spread. Therefore, putting the titles in the middle of the two page spread and the images and/or ads on the outside of the two page spread. Also, we have another option of just doing a one page TOC, And the next page be an ad, with pops of color on both pages, but more so on the page with the ad (right page). We decided that those two options would be the best way for our magazine to acheive the 'clean aesthetic' we are going for. We want a white base with bright colors popping off of the clean background. For example, a white base, with bright red sunglasses on top is very visually appealing. In a nutshell, our TOC will be simple, clean, organized, yet have pops of color, all at once.
Similar to these two Table of Contents....but original, of course. :)
